1. Acceptance

By using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using the service for a child, you confirm you are authorized to do so by applicable parent/guardian or school authority requirements.

2. Service

English Mastery Week, operated by Ekan Limited, provides a reading-practice platform that may include curriculum content, audio playback, student recording submission, and automated feedback/scoring features.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• Accounts may be created by authorized adults, schools, or organizations.
• You are responsible for account security and safeguarding credentials.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Do not reverse engineer or misuse the platform beyond allowed use.
• Do not access data you are not authorized to access.

5. Educational disclaimer

Automated feedback and scores are educational support tools and are not medical, clinical, or diagnostic determinations.

6. Intellectual property

• Platform software and related materials are owned by or licensed to Ekan Limited.
• You may not copy, clone, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to recreate the service, in whole or in part, except where explicitly permitted by mandatory law.
• Student/customer submission ownership remains with the submitting party, subject to rights needed to operate the service.
• Users grant the limited license necessary to process submissions and deliver functionality.

7. Privacy and AI processing

Use of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Child voice recordings are not used to train foundation models by default. Optional research/improvement processing, if offered, requires separate explicit consent.

8. Availability, suspension, and updates

We may improve or modify features over time and may suspend access for violations, abuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes through reasonable channels.

Any in-app product feedback channel is provided for service improvement only, is routed directly to Ekan Limited, and does not create a customer-support SLA or guaranteed response commitment.

9. Liability and governing law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis, with limitations and dispute handling governed by applicable agreements and the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
